Founded in July 1995, Levene, Neale, Bender, Yoo & Brill L.L.P. (LNBY&B) is a Los Angeles- based law firm specializing in the practice of bankruptcy, insolvency and business reorganizations. It has since forged a strong reputation for creatively, proactively and expeditiously resolving complex legal issues for a diversity of prominent companies and individuals throughout all sectors of business and industry and who face severe financial challenges.

With decades of accumulated experience, LNBY&B is at the forefront of the rescue and rehabilitation of companies in fiscal distress, and has represented debtors, creditors’ and equity holders’ committees, trustees, purchasers, principals and secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts. The firm’s strengths also include structuring and facilitating sales and acquisition transactions involving troubled businesses or their assets. LNBY&B also handles litigation in the commercial arena, representing receivers, secured creditors and others.

The firm, which has offices in Century City and downtown Los Angeles, was originally established by David W. Levene, David L. Neale and Ron Bender to represent clients in such industries as entertainment, healthcare, food & beverage, manufacturing and distribution, energy, real estate, retail, service and technology and communications. Martin J. Brill joined as a name partner in 2000, and Timothy J. Yoo became a name partner in 2010, following the merger of Levene, Neale, Bender, Rankin & Brill L.L.P. with Robinson, Diamant & Wolkowitz, a bankruptcy boutique founded in 1962.

Using cost-effective, inventive strategies, LNBY&B is large enough to expertly handle the most complex matters, yet small enough so that every client receives the personal attention and experience clients expect of a specialized law firm.
